Moran Somer
Animation director and lecturer specialized in puppet animation, experimental animation and stop motion techniques. Moran created visuals and animation for independent films, music videos and commissioned work, some of which were screened in dozens of international festivals, winning several prizes.
Founder and partner at "ZAZ" Animation Studio. In the last six years Moran teaches animation at Sapir and Minshar colleges. Graduate of the NFTS and Aardman Studios character animation course, and of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem. Moran lives at a small house with a big studio, adores hedgehogs and is a bit suspicious of swans.
